Just a Walk

Nice warm up walk for the day. Airpod Pros did well to afford a nice catch up call with a very good friend. Also helped to pass the time. Was a beautiful morning and several out walking, running, or biking. Sweat, circulation, critical thinking, etc… Was nice, very very nice.

It will work if you work it!

This evening I needed to get the blood flowing again and my newly found therapeutic was well needed and we’ll deserved. I treated myself to 1 hour of Vinyasa.

60 minutes in 30 seconds

Was a very nice day indeed….

Sometimes the best things are those things simple. Simple food, simple company, simple achievements, simple times. Well today I’ve determined to keep things simple.

Some well seasoned wings and Sweet Potatoes on the grill will do.

Decided to grab a new set up yesterday evening. Rigged it this morning, walked out through my sliding glass door and across my patio. Down to the lakes edge and yep!! First cast with my new gear lands me this sweet gorgeousness of a bass. Needle nose pliers to get hooks out and released this baby to fight another day.

Yeah, it’s gonna be a great day!

Tough ride today… hard to get started but then it was a burst of energy. On my return had some face wind and was facing traffic with lights…. didn’t do so well on the return. But overall I pushed through and feel good about the work I put in today.

Thinking Cap

Today has been a conflicted day. While I’m focussed and also possitive overall, I’m conflicted by type A personalities who care less about details and who attempt to simply bend the truth to fit a predisposed position or outcome. I mean they do this even when the data and detail would steer otherwise.

This is why having a good Thinking Cap matters. I’m determined to stand on facts and data to inform my decisions and it’s gonna be very difficult for others to sway me even as they float around on wishes.

Not many are willing to do what it takes… To invest in themselves or their craft. I can’t be happy enough that somehow I’ve been able to do what I love and to get paid for it. So this morning on a beautiful day I’m at the car dealer waiting for them to wash Sophia and what am I doing…WORKING!

You see I know what I want, I’m not afraid of sacrifice, I know what success looks like, I know what it takes, and I’m willing to work for it! Let’s GOOOOOOO!!!!
